I worked at NCIT Solutions a company headquartered in Raliegh,NC as a data entry employee on a medical reimbursement program that they had on that was used by clinics all over states to handle patients charges and doctor payments from insurance companies. My job consisted of reading the charge slips from the faxed or mailed from the doctor offices, entering them into the system, including the patients details, charge details and diagnosis codes. we used to work with multiple insurance related health systems e.g. ECare, NGS-Connex, and other systems to check patients' eligibility and follow up on charges for the doctors or clinics. Working with this made me familiar with pretty much everything that goes on in the doctors' offices and medical clinics, this experience was very good and helped enrich my knowledge and start my career as an IT graduate.
